1. Agreement
By creating a CONTAKS account or using the portal, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are registering a business, you confirm you are authorized to represent that business.
2. Accounts and roles
CONTAKS provides one portal with three roles: Customer, Business, and Administrator. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and use only the areas your role is allowed to access. Admin accounts are issued by CONTAKS and cannot be self-registered.
3. Acceptable use
You may not post false business information, scrape the platform, harass other users, attempt to bypass role permissions, upload unlawful or infringing media, manipulate reviews, or interfere with security or availability of the service.
4. Listings, reviews, and chat
Businesses are responsible for their listings, photos, prices, and promotions. Customers must post honest reviews based on genuine experience. CONTAKS may hide, edit context for, or remove content that is reported, misleading, or against these terms. Chat is provided for legitimate customer-business communication only.
5. Subscriptions and advertising
Some listing, visibility, and advertising features may require a paid plan. Fees, billing periods, and package details will be shown before purchase. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable after a billing period starts. Failed payments may pause premium features.
6. Verification
CONTAKS may approve, reject, or suspend business profiles. Verification does not mean CONTAKS endorses a business or guarantees products or services.
7. Intellectual property
The CONTAKS name, design, and software belong to CONTAKS. You keep ownership of content you upload and grant CONTAKS a license to host and display it in the service. You must have rights to any photos, videos, or text you submit.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided as a discovery and communication service. CONTAKS is not a party to transactions between customers and businesses unless a later feature expressly says so. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONTAKS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or disputes arising from listings, reviews, or off-platform dealings. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid CONTAKS in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, fail verification, or create risk for other users. You may stop using CONTAKS at any time. Sections that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) remain in effect.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product grows. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions: legal@contaks.com.
